Quarterly Classroom Vocal Course
Core Course Structure
- 12 sessions total per quarter (conducted 1 hour per week).
- Small group batches (4 to 8 students) to ensure individual attention.
- Choice of Hindustani Classical, Carnatic Classical, or Rabindra Sangeet.
- Includes Live Tabla Sangat (percussion) during practice sessions.
Facility & Equipment
- Conducted at Jeevan Bima Nagar center (non AC studio).
- Traditional floor seating on carpets or dhurries.
- In-class access to academy Harmoniums and Tanpuras.
Curriculum & Certification
- Follows Prayag Sangeet Samiti or Sarbabharatiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad syllabus.
- Internal progress checks by senior Gurus.
- Preparation for annual external exams.
Quarterly Online Vocal Course
Remote Delivery
- Live interactive classes via Zoom or Google Meet.
- 12 sessions total per quarter (1 hour per week).
- Uses "Call and Response" method to mitigate audio latency.
Digital Resources
- PDF scans of notations and lyrics provided digitally.
- Guidance on using Electronic Tabla apps (like iTablaPro) for rhythm support.
Syllabus & Certification
- Covers accredited curriculum (Prayag Sangeet Samiti) identical to offline classes.
- Eligibility for online theory exams.
- Guidance on scheduling practical exams.
Student Requirements
- Must own an instrument (Harmonium/Keyboard).
- Reliable internet connection is mandatory.

About Us
At Sangeet Gurugriha, music isn’t just a subject - it’s our parampara (tradition), and we treat every student like part of our gharana (musical family). I believe anybody can sing, whether you’re a total newbie or you’ve been practicing for years. Dreams don’t have age limits here.
What You Can Learn
- Hindustani classical vocal training is our main focus. We start from basics - no shortcuts, just honest riyaaz (practice).
- Explore Carnatic vocal classes, Rabindra Sangeet instruction, and semi-classical genres like Thumri or Ghazal. You want soulful Tagore songs? You’re in the right place.
- Classes for kids (from age 5) and adults. Beginners, advanced, sabke liye hai (it’s for everyone).
How We Teach
- Online singing lessons for beginners and advanced learners. If you’re in Bangalore, join us in person.
- For Hindustani, we include live tabla sangat (accompaniment) - gives the real feel, not just theory.
- Practice leads to performance. Students perform at annual events and festivals - think Ganesh Chaturthi, Rabindra Jayanti, full-on celebration.
Progress & Certification
- If you want formal recognition, we offer vocal music certification with Prayag Sangeet Samiti and Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad.
- Regular practical and theory exams, so you see real progress, not just attendance.

My Story
Namaste! We’re Sangeet Gurugriha - not just a music school, more like your second home. Here, gurus and students, we’re all one big family. Festivals? Oh, we go all out - Ganpati Bappa Morya! And Rabindra Jayanti, always with 'আছো তুমি হৃদয় জুড়ে' (You are in my heart). With almost 200 students, the place gets wild during exams, but seeing everyone grow, that’s our real joy. Big shoutout to our team and students – truly blessed.
