My setup ensures the lighting highlights texture and fabric flow, so your catalogue looks consistent and professional across every garment.
When filming apparel, the biggest challenge is maintaining consistency while showing the unique movement of each piece. I use a multi-light setup with softboxes to ensure color accuracy and texture detail, which is critical for fashion catalogues. Whether you are creating a walk-through video for an Instagram collection launch or detailed clips for your website, I structure the shoot to highlight the specific fit and design of your clothing.
My workflow involves a mix of wide-angle shots to capture the full outfit and close-ups to show the embroidery, fabric quality, and stitching details. Because these shoots depend on the energy of the model and the styling, I recommend planning the look-book ahead of time so we can move efficiently through each garment. I shoot on Sony Alpha systems, which allows for sharp, high-definition footage that retains detail even after compression for social media platforms.
