A complete leg transformation. We covered an old tribal flame tattoo with a full-scale Japanese samurai leg sleeve. The new design is so dynamic and detailed that the old ink simply vanishes.
This is one of our favorite types of transformations. A simple name tattoo on the forearm is expertly covered by a detailed Japanese pagoda scene, giving the client a completely new and beautiful piece of art.
From a black box with a heart to an elegant peacock. This ankle cover-up shows that even dark, dense tattoos can be transformed into something beautiful and delicate with the right design and technique.
This video shows our process for a complex forearm cover-up. We use layers of shading and bold new imagery, like a warrior and an eagle, to completely obscure the old tattoos underneath, resulting in a seamless new sleeve.
This was a tattoo extension project. The client had a faded Medusa hand tattoo, and we seamlessly extended it up the forearm with a warrior portrait and flowing snakes, creating a single, cohesive sleeve.
This realism sleeve was also a cover-up project. The video shows glimpses of the old tattoo being covered by the new, intricate design of Zeus and the planet Saturn, demonstrating how new art can give old ink a new life.

Some old tattoos require a heavier hand, perhaps a switch to black and grey realism or Japanese style, which are excellent for masking because of their intricate detail and dynamic shading. Other times, we might extend a smaller piece, weaving new imagery into the existing design to create a cohesive sleeve or a larger, flowing composition.
We utilize digital stenciling on iPads before the needle touches skin. This lets you see exactly how the new design will sit over the old one. We understand that having a tattoo you don't love can be frustrating, so we make sure the session is comfortable, taking breaks as needed. Whether it is an old name that needs to vanish or a faded tribal piece that needs a modern upgrade, our goal is to leave you with artwork you are genuinely proud to wear.
