Don't live with ink you no longer love. Whether it's a faded name, an old impulsive design, or just a tattoo that lost its meaning, I specialize in transforming them into something truly shandaar.

From an old, faded design to a powerful roaring lion. This cover-up on the shoulder completely hides the previous tattoo, replacing it with a symbol of strength and courage.

This video shows the transformation of a simple initial tattoo into a fierce, realistic tiger. The new design uses the space perfectly, and the dark shading ensures the old ink is gone for good.

A painful memory transformed into art. This client wanted to cover up an old name tattoo, and we designed a powerful roaring lion with a splash of red to symbolize a new, strong beginning.

The process of covering an old portrait with a striking dragon's eye. You can see how the new, darker design is strategically placed to completely obscure the unwanted tattoo underneath.

A fantastic before-and-after of a shoulder cover-up. The old tribal band is completely gone, replaced by a fierce warrior owl design with bold red accents. This is a total transformation.

This full-arm sleeve is a massive cover-up project. We used a complex geometric and mandala pattern with heavy blackwork to completely hide multiple old tattoos, creating a brand new, cohesive look.

An old, faded forearm tattoo gets a new life with this intricate design featuring an eye, a clock, and a rose. The new piece is full of detail and meaning, and the old tattoo is nowhere to be seen.

This video shows the process of covering up a large name tattoo on the chest. The old 'SONY' tattoo is replaced with a bold, black Shivling design, turning a regret into a symbol of faith.

An old basketball tattoo is transformed with a beautiful red koi fish and rose design. The vibrant red of the fish effectively covers the old lines, creating a beautiful new piece of art.

A faded Ganpati Om tattoo gets a major upgrade. We designed a larger, more dynamic piece around it with a Khanda symbol, adding color and bold lines to create a completely new and powerful tattoo.

About Tattoo Cover-Up & Redesign

Covering an old design isn't just drawing over it. I first sketch a custom stencil to map exactly how the new art interacts with the old lines, ensuring the faded ink is completely hidden under a fresh, darker design. We use solid saturation and specific shadow work to make sure your old tattoo is history.

Living with a tattoo you regret can be frustrating, but it doesn't have to be permanent. In my studios in Mumbai and Patna, I help clients turn unwanted ink into fresh art. The process is different from a new tattoo because we are working around existing ink, which often requires a larger canvas or a denser design to mask the original shape effectively.

How I Approach Cover-Ups

  • The Consultation: We start by analyzing the old tattoo. Size, age, and ink saturation matter. Faded designs are much easier to work with than heavy black-work, but even deep ink can be hidden with the right creative approach.
  • Custom Planning: I don't just use a stock design. I create a digital draft to see how the new imagery—like a roaring lion, a spiritual Shivling, or detailed geometry—fits over the old lines. This prevents 'ghosting' where the old tattoo peeks through.
  • Darker Ink Usage: Because we are hiding something, the new piece often relies on heavy black-and-grey shading or bold colors to provide the necessary coverage.

If you have an old name, a tribal band, or a design that just doesn't feel like you anymore, bring it by the studio. Whether you are in Bhuleshwar or near Boring Road in Patna, we can turn that regret into a piece you'll be proud to show off.

Namaskar, I'm Pramod. I started my journey in Mumbai and now run studios in both Mumbai and Patna, helping people fix old tattoos that they no longer connect with. For me, a cover-up is about taking a regret and turning it into something you actually love wearing on your skin.
