About Grand Backdrops & Stage Decor
We never use artificial grass or plastic foliage for our main designs. We build our backdrops using fresh banana leaves, woven palm mats, and real flower garlands, which brings a specific fragrance and texture to the space that photos alone cannot capture.
Our approach to backdrops is grounded in the 'Samskruthi' philosophy—blending authentic tradition with modern elegance. Whether you are hosting a small Gruha Pravesha at home or a large community event, we tailor our designs to the space.
Why Our Backdrops Feel Different
We focus on the raw, natural elements. Instead of generic plastic, we use:
- Woven Palm and Banana Leaves: These form the structural base of our checkerboard and grid patterns, offering a rich, earthy finish.
- Floral Mosaics: We pin individual rose, marigold, and chrysanthemum petals onto panels to create custom motifs like lotuses, Om symbols, or deity faces.
- Real Garlands: We use heavy strings of jasmine, tuberose, and marigold to create depth, rather than using flat drapes.
Fitting Your Space
- For Homes (8x8 ft): Our compact setups are designed specifically for standard apartment ceilings. We use signature checkered backdrops that don't crowd your living room but still provide a clear focus for photos.
- For Halls (20-30 ft): We scale up with fiber pillars, antique-gold finishes, and full-sized banana trees to create a mandap that feels like a real temple gudi.
Customization & Lighting
Every backdrop includes integrated lighting. We use warm white LED focus lights that wash the floral textures in a soft glow, making sure the petals look vibrant in your event photos.
