How We Create a Home Away From Home
Boarding is stressful for any pet, which is why my HSR Layout home is designed to be the exact opposite. My approach is simple: I treat every guest like my own family, or as I affectionately call them, my kunju (little one).
Personal, High-Touch Interaction
Every pet has a unique personality, and I make it a point to learn theirs.
- Conversational Care: I talk to them constantly. If a bird is quiet or a cat is being fussy at mealtime, I gently engage with them. This constant verbal connection helps them settle in much faster.
- Routine Matters: From morning feedings to the bedtime tuck-ins, I maintain a consistent rhythm. My daily routine involves checking for health and appetite, just as I would with my own pets.
- No Caging for Cats: My cat boarding area is designed for movement and play, not confinement. With custom cat trees and shelves, they have plenty of vertical space to explore and feel safe.
Specialized Care for Small Pets
- Birds: My aviary setup allows for freedom of flight while ensuring complete safety. I personally supervise time outside their cages to keep them active and happy.
- Rabbits & Pocket Pets: They receive their own dedicated, quiet zones. I ensure they get their daily fresh veggie platters and monitor their health closely, as small changes in behavior can be important.
Keeping You Updated
I know the biggest worry is wondering how your pet is doing. I share regular updates, photos, and videos so you can see them comfortable, playing, or even just napping. You will never have to guess if your little one is being looked after; you will see it for yourself.
