Gentle Mealtime Care for Cats and Small Pets in HSR
I know how much you worry about your little one's appetite when you're away. Whether it’s a fussy cat or a hungry rabbit, I make sure every meal is served with the same love and attention they’d get at home.
This ginger cat is enjoying his breakfast from a clean steel bowl. I monitor everyone's appetite to make sure they are eating properly.

About this collection
One thing you won’t see in the photos is the routine. Every single bowl is stainless steel and spotlessly cleaned before every meal. If your little one is being fussy or skipping a bite, I’ll gently encourage them—just like I do with my own pets—to make sure they’re eating well. It’s not just about filling the bowl; it’s about making sure they feel comfortable enough to eat.
Mealtime is the most important part of the day, especially when a pet is in a new environment. Because I want to avoid any digestive upsets, I ask all pet parents to provide the specific food their little ones are used to. This helps me maintain their regular diet while they stay here.
My Feeding Routine
- Individual Care: No shared bowls. Every guest gets their own stainless steel bowl, which is cleaned thoroughly after every use.
- Appetite Monitoring: If I notice someone isn't eating or is acting picky, I don't just leave the food out. I sit with them, talk to them, and try to understand what's wrong.
- Separated Spaces: To reduce stress and food aggression, I ensure pets have their own space to eat. Cats, for example, eat in a calm, dog-free zone, while rabbits and guinea pigs have their mealtime separate from other species to keep them relaxed.
- Fresh Treats: For the bunnies, guinea pigs, and hamsters, mealtime also means fresh veggies and seasonal fruits. I check their gut health daily, as these little ones are quite sensitive to changes in diet.
Whether it’s a shy cat, a talkative bird, or a hungry rabbit, my goal is to make sure they finish their meal happily and feel safe enough to ask for more. You can rest easy knowing that while you are away, their tummies are being taken care of just like they would be at home.
