About All The Cuddles & Care
We believe in low-stress boarding, so our team is always down on the floor with the pack. Whether it's a high-energy Golden Retriever needing a game of fetch or a shy dog who just wants to sit next to us for reassurance, we tailor our attention to their specific personality.
At Forest Friend's Shack, we do things differently. We think cages are boring, so we have over 10,000 sq ft of open, fenced-in space where your pets can roam, zoom, and nap exactly where they please.
Why we skip the cages
When we say home-style living, we mean it. Your pets have access to human-grade sofas, floor mattresses, and our own beds. If a dog wants to snooze under the fan on a hot afternoon, they can. If they want to wrestle in the yard, the space is theirs. We group them by energy levels and temperament, ensuring that every interaction is positive and safe.
Not just for dogs
We know that every furry is different, which is why we have distinct zones. Our cats stay in a completely separate, quiet area, away from the hustle of the dog packs, equipped with multi-level enclosures and plenty of enrichment toys. Even our rabbit and guinea pig guests have their own secure, predator-proof hutch area, ensuring they stay calm and happy.
Our approach to care
We don't just 'watch' pets; we bond with them. Our team is constantly interacting with our guests, whether it's giving belly rubs, cleaning paws after playtime, or simply sitting on the ground to provide comfort to a pet that might be missing their family. We keep things simple, honest, and full of love. Mashaallah, seeing them happy and running free is the best part of our day.
