About Home Boarding for Small Pets
Why I Do What I Do
Taking care of your small pets is not just a job for me. I treat every kunju (little one) who walks in like my own. My home is their home - they get cuddles, playtime and all that extra attention. Even their quirks and fussiness, I know how to handle, whether it’s a shy cat or a talkative budgie.
Who Finds a Place Here
- Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and all types of birds
- Sorry, I can’t take dogs, my setup isn’t right for them
How I Make Them Feel at Home
- Cat-friendly boarding home: Spacious, tiled indoor area that’s fully cat-proofed, with cat trees, swings, and safe hideouts. No tiny cages here.
- Bird boarding with personal care: Small birds get their own aviary to fly around, bigger birds get time out of their cages under my watchful eye.
- Safe rabbit boarding & more: Rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters have their own clean cages, fresh bedding, and daily veggie treats. Sometimes, we even throw a party if it’s their birthday!
My Care Promise
- I talk to every pet by name, remember their habits, and cheerfully call out ‘va va’ (come come) when they arrive
- Food and water in individual stainless steel bowls, spotlessly cleaned
- If someone’s not eating, I’ll gently ask, “Food kazhikkande?” (Don’t you want to eat?) - just like with my own kids
Your pet isn’t just boarded here, they’re treated like family until you’re back.

My Story
Eight years and still feels new, honestly. My world is full of cats, birds, rabbits—each one is family to me. Mornings start with feeding, nights end with a 'Laila, va... namukku urangande?' (Laila, come... don’t we have to sleep?). Ari’s drama, my gundumma’s antics, all their faces—this is home. It’s not just work. It’s a house of unconditional love, and I’m grateful every single day.
My Work
Boarding for small pets - I welcome cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and birds—no dogs, sorry.
Non-cage pet care - No cages here. Pets get cozy cabins and lots of space to play and explore.
Family treatment - Every pet is my kuttima (little one). I talk, cuddle, and call them by name.
