Do not use standard desktop hard drives for your CCTV system. I only install surveillance-grade storage drives because they are built to handle the constant, 24/7 write cycles of video recording. Standard drives will fail quickly, putting your security footage at risk.
A reliable security setup starts with the right hardware. I stick to original brands like Hikvision, CP Plus, and Securus because they offer consistent performance and genuine hardware warranties.
