Mentorship and Cricket Player Development
Real growth happens when technical skills meet the right mindset. Whether you are refining your technique or preparing for the pressure of competitive cricket, I focus on the individual behind the athlete.
The greatest satisfaction for a coach is seeing your work acknowledged by the players. This newspaper article, where cricketer Sachin Baby mentions our work together, makes the effort worthwhile.

About this collection
My approach to mentorship is not about rigid, one-size-fits-all training. When we sit down for a session, whether in my Whitefield academy or a one-on-one strategy meeting, we look at the specific gaps in your game that are not obvious in the nets. I focus on the mental clutter that stops good players from becoming great ones, the same way I work with top-tier athletes to handle pressure in high-stakes T20 leagues.
Cricket is as much about what happens in your head as it is about your footwork or bat speed. In this cluster, I share my methodology for coaching players who want to go beyond basic practice. We break down the 'mental toughness' needed to stay calm when a match is on the line.
My Mentorship Approach
- Technical Diagnostics: We use video analysis and net oversight to review your stance, backlift, and impact points. We strip away the unnecessary movements so your batting becomes more efficient.
- Mental Toughness: I run sessions focused on removing the fear of failure. We simulate match pressures so that when you walk out to the middle, the situation feels familiar rather than intimidating.
- Role Clarity: Many players struggle because they do not understand their role in the team. We use whiteboarding sessions to define your purpose, whether you are a top-order batter or a finisher.
- Real-World Application: I take the principles used in leagues like the WPL, TNPL, and Maharaja T20 and adapt them to your level. We do not just train for the sake of tiring you out; we train to build consistent habits that hold up under tournament conditions.
My coaching is based in Whitefield, but I travel to team locations across India to consult with squads and individuals. If you are serious about your development, we will put in the hard work to ensure your process is correct. When the process is right, the results follow.
