Celebrity Collaborations & Commercial Campaigns
Capturing the energy between brands, celebrities, and creative teams. A look at my recent work for publications and talent in Mumbai.
A fun and sunny shot for a promotional campaign with actress Shivangi Joshi. The goal was to capture a playful, "bee-ing myself" vibe that felt authentic to her personality. The natural light and cheerful styling resulted in a warm and engaging image.
Another shot from my collaboration with Shivangi Joshi. This playful, leaning-in pose creates a friendly and intimate connection with the viewer. It's the kind of relatable content that performs well for social media campaigns.
Capturing a moment of surprise and delight with Shivangi. Candid, expressive shots like this are key for storytelling and showing the personality behind the celebrity. It adds a layer of authenticity to the campaign.
A cheeky and charming shot that adds a bit of mystery and playfulness to the series. Working with professional talent like Shivangi means we can capture a wide range of emotions and moods quickly and effectively.
This was a shoot for a women's fitness publication, featuring a bold, athletic theme. I styled this shot with a basketball jersey and a basketball to create a sporty, confident look that breaks away from traditional beauty imagery.
From the same fitness editorial, this shot brings a fighter's intensity. The red boxing gloves, messy hair, and fierce expression create a powerful and empowering image. It shows my ability to direct and capture high-energy, thematic concepts.
About Collaborations & Published Work
When I shoot with celebrities or for major publications, the magic isn't just in the lens—it's in the prep. I don't just show up and click, we align on mood boards, lighting references, and styling cues weeks before the shoot. This means when the clock starts, we aren't wasting time figuring out the vibe; we are just executing the vision.
Collaborative photography is about more than just the photographer. It is about how I build a crew—stylists, makeup artists, and the talent—to turn a rough idea into a visual that stops the scroll.
The Collaborative Process
My work with figures like Shivangi Joshi is a prime example of this workflow. We didn't just want standard portraits; we wanted to capture a moment of raw personality. This requires a high level of trust on set. By handling the production aspects, from lighting setup to final color correction, I ensure the client feels comfortable enough to let their guard down. That is how you get those expressive, candid-looking shots that feel authentic rather than staged.
Why The Approach Matters
Whether it is a fitness publication like WomenFitness or a celebrity campaign, the goal is always the same: impact. For my editorial work, I shift the aesthetic. If the brand needs athletic intensity, I am shooting with hard, punchy light. If it needs approachable, fun energy, I soften the approach but keep the composition sharp.
My Working Style
- Pre-Production: We define the mood, the color palette, and the styling references before we ever step into Studio 1965.
- Production: I run a tight, energetic set. It keeps the talent engaged and the crew focused on the objective.
- Post-Production: High-end retouching is part of the package, ensuring skin texture remains real while product colors or styling details pop.
If you have a campaign in mind, we start by looking at what you want to say, then we build the visuals to make sure everyone hears it.
