Diverse Portrait Photography and Editorial Styles
From clean studio headshots to edgy fashion editorials, I build the mood to match your personality. Let's create something that stops the scroll.
A portrait that balances charm and confidence. The model's bright, genuine smile contrasts with the bold styling of the open blazer, creating an image that is both approachable and daring. I love capturing these dualities in a single shot.
A classic and confident male portrait. I used clean, simple lighting to highlight the model's strong features and direct gaze. This type of shot is perfect for an actor's headshot or a commercial campaign for a watch or lifestyle brand.
This shot combines fashion and portraiture with a pop of color. The bright orange couch provides a vibrant backdrop for the model's chic outfit. I used flash to create a crisp, high-fashion look with a touch of vintage flair.
A creative and conceptual portrait with a vintage doll-like aesthetic. The styling, with its plaid skirt, puffed sleeves, and bright red tights, is highly theatrical. My job was to create a mood and composition that felt both playful and slightly unsettling.
A soft and elegant portrait using natural light indoors. The plants in the foreground create a beautiful, natural frame, adding depth to the image. The model's off-camera gaze gives the shot a candid, story-driven feel.
This is an example of a minimal, clean studio portrait. The all-white styling and simple draped background keep the focus entirely on the model. The lighting is soft and diffused, creating a serene and ethereal mood.
An "edgy minimal" portrait. The styling is simple, but the model's pose and direct gaze are strong and confident. The acid-wash texture of the jumpsuit adds a touch of grunge to the otherwise clean studio shot.
A warm, sunny portrait with a genuine smile. I used soft, flattering light to create a friendly and approachable headshot. This style is great for actors, professionals, or anyone needing a warm and inviting profile picture.
A more vulnerable and intimate pose from the same orange couch series. The model's curled-up position and soft expression create a different, more contemplative mood compared to the direct-gaze shots.
A classic, elegant pose that showcases both the fashion and the model's beauty. The off-camera look feels sophisticated and thoughtful. This demonstrates the range of shots I provide from a single fashion setup.
About Diverse Portraits & Styles
You aren't just getting a photographer; you're getting a collaborator. Whether you need a crisp, professional headshot or a raw, experimental fashion look, I handle the technical lighting and pacing while you bring the energy. We don't do stiff, boring poses here. I guide the movement and expression on set until we land that one frame that feels 100% authentic to who you are.
Your Vibe, Captured
I treat every portrait session like a campaign. My process at Studio 1965 in Goregaon is about stripping away the distractions so we can focus on your features, your style, and the story you want to tell.
What goes into the shoot:
- Concept Development: We don't just 'take photos.' We decide on a mood—is it high-contrast and dramatic, or clean and minimalist? We lock this in before the first flash fires.
- Direction: If you're not a professional model, don't sweat it. I provide active direction on posing, angles, and micro-expressions to make sure you look natural and confident, not posed.
- Technical Versatility: I shift my lighting setups on the fly. We can go from soft, flattering light that mimics a morning glow to sharp, hard light that brings out the texture in clothing and skin.
The Workflow
Most of my portrait clients come in looking for a specific outcome—acting portfolios, personal branding, or just high-end fashion shots for their socials. I prioritize tethered shooting, which means we review the shots on a laptop in real-time. If a pose isn't working, we catch it instantly, tweak the styling, and try again. It’s a fast-paced environment, but it ensures you leave with images you’re actually proud of.
Whether we're working in the studio or scouting an outdoor spot in Mumbai, the goal remains the same: a final set of retouched images that look sharp, feel honest, and stand out in a sea of generic content.
