About First Birthday Celebrations
A first birthday session in my studio is never about forced smiles. I let your baby guide the pace, whether that means diving headfirst into the cake, curiously inspecting the props, or needing a quick pause for a cuddle. My goal is to capture the authentic, messy joy of turning one, creating images that feel like real memories rather than staged perfection.
The Studio Experience
When your baby turns one, their personality is already shining through. My studio in Lower Parel is a dedicated, bright, and safe space where we can focus entirely on them. We avoid harsh lighting and artificial setups. Instead, I use natural light and soft, timeless props that keep the attention on your little one's expressions and developmental milestones, whether they are just learning to stand or exploring the room.
The Cake Smash & Milestone Photography
Many parents choose a cake smash for their baby's first birthday, and it is always a highlight. It is unpredictable and fun. If your little one isn't a fan of the cake, we pivot—that is part of the process. I also offer classic portrait sessions, which focus on your baby's interactions with toys, their first wobbly steps, or just their delightful curiosity.
Practical Details
- Duration: These sessions are scheduled for 2 to 3 hours, allowing plenty of time for outfit changes, feeding, and settling in.
- Themes: I can work with minimal, elegant setups or specific themes if you have one in mind. We can discuss your vision before the shoot.
- Inclusions: You receive high-resolution, fine-art edited images. For cake smashes, I ask that parents provide the cake to ensure it meets any allergy requirements your baby might have.
- Booking: Since these sessions require custom preparation, I recommend reaching out 2 to 3 months in advance to secure your preferred date.
