Managing excited siblings and curious pets requires patience, not just a camera. I don't expect kids or dogs to sit still and smile on command. Instead, we play, we move, and we let them explore the studio or garden while I catch those fleeting, genuine interactions that truly define this chapter of your family story.
Including your older children and pets in a photoshoot can feel daunting, but it is often where the most genuine moments happen. In my Lower Parel studio, we keep the environment controlled yet flexible enough for little ones to roam. If you prefer the outdoors, we can choose a park in Mumbai where kids and pets have the space to run free while I capture the action from a distance.
The key to a successful session with siblings or pets is embracing the unpredictable. I do not force stiff poses because that is rarely how a family actually interacts. We might play a game, go for a walk, or simply sit together on a rug. This approach produces natural smiles rather than forced expressions.
For pet parents, we typically recommend an outdoor location to ensure your companion feels comfortable and has enough room to move. If you are set on a studio session, we can certainly make it work depending on the pet's temperament and size.
