Professional Hairstyling Techniques & Training
From classic Maharashtrian Khopa buns to modern romantic curls, I teach the art of hair design. Whether you are looking for a stylist for your wedding or want to master these techniques yourself, here is a look at my signature styles.

About Professional Hairstyling Techniques
Getting a hairstyle to hold for a full Maharashtrian wedding ceremony requires more than just heavy hairspray. I teach my students how to build structural volume from the roots, ensuring the floral bun or 'Khopa' stays secure through hours of rituals without feeling heavy or pulling on the scalp. It is all about finding the right balance between the hair texture and the weight of the accessories.
In my 40-day master course, I emphasize that hairstyling is a blend of science and art. We do not just memorize shapes; we understand how to handle different hair lengths and textures.
What we cover in the course
We dive into over 15 professional styles. This includes:
- Traditional Foundations: Perfecting the classic Khopa and messy buns, essential for Maharashtrian and South Indian bridal looks.
- Modern Techniques: Soft romantic curls, half-up half-down styles, and braided updos that suit contemporary lehenga looks.
- The 'Why' Behind the Style: You will learn when to use crimping for volume versus when to blow-dry for a smooth finish. We look at face framing, butterfly clips, and floral placement, ensuring the final result complements the makeup and the outfit.
Hands-on Learning
Everything we do is hands-on. My students practice on mannequins to get the mechanics right before working with live models. Samajla ka? (Got it?) You will learn how to use professional tools safely, ensuring your clients get a style that lasts from the morning puja to the final reception dance.
If you are hiring me for your event, rest assured that the styles you see here—unfiltered and unedited—are exactly what I will recreate for you. Whether you want a traditional look with a nath or a chic cocktail hairstyle, we will plan it to match your vibe and your dress.
