About Mastering Bridal Hairstyling
You won't just watch videos here. My classes start with mannequin practice to build your muscle memory, then we move to live models so you get comfortable handling real hair textures. It is all about real work—learning to secure heavy jewellery, managing long hair, and finishing a clean, professional look quickly.
Hands-on Learning
I believe in learning by doing. We start from the basics: how to hold your tools, section hair correctly, and prep textures using crimpers and dryers. You will spend hours with me at the station, not just watching, but trying techniques yourself until they are perfect.
What We Cover
- Traditional Styling: Mastery of the classic bridal bun, donut padding, and intricate South Indian jada braids with floral fixations.
- Modern Looks: We practice messy braids, mermaid waves, and high-volume ponytails that are trending for Sangeet and Engagement functions.
- Tool Mastery: You will learn to work safely with tongs, straighteners, and dryers, and how to use hair extensions to create volume.
- Jewellery Setting: A crucial skill that many artists miss. I will teach you exactly how to pin a Mathapatti or Nath so it stays secure all day without hurting the bride.
The Final Assessment
Your training ends with a timed practical exam. This is the moment you transition from a student to a professional. You will create a full bridal look on a live model, which we photograph for your portfolio. When you finish, you will walk away with the confidence to handle any bride, on any wedding day, under any amount of pressure.
