About On Set with Marathi Celebrities
Working on a set means the makeup must survive harsh studio lights and long, demanding shoot schedules. My focus is always on high-definition, long-wear products that do not look heavy on camera, ensuring the talent looks fresh from the first take to the last.
The requirements for on-set makeup are entirely different from bridal or party makeup. On set, I rely on products like Tarte and Charlotte Tilbury to create a base that stays put, even under studio heat. It is a balancing act between providing enough coverage to hide imperfections and keeping the skin looking natural enough to pass in close-up shots.
My approach on set is built on punctuality and adaptability. Whether it is a quick touch-up between scenes or a full look from scratch, the goal is to keep the flow of the shoot moving. I have learned that the best makeup artist on set is the one who is fast, reliable, and invisible to the camera.
I bring this exact mindset into my 40-day master course. Many students think makeup is just about blending, but it is also about professional etiquette, hygiene, and handling pressure. When I teach my students, I share these real-world experiences so they are ready for their first professional gig, whether it is for a bride or a celebrity shoot.
