Exclusive Culinary Pop-ups and Guest Chef Collaborations
Discover the culinary stories that happen beyond our daily menu. We regularly invite guest chefs and design limited-time experiences that honour traditional roots while embracing our progressive Indian spirit.
We were thrilled to host the acclaimed Chef Amninder Sandhu for a special pop-up. She brought her fresh take on traditional Indian flavours to the Rooh kitchen.
What an amazing experience working with Chef Amninder Sandhu and her team. Collaboration is at the heart of creativity, and together we created something truly special.
We recently hosted Naushy Mirza for a special pop-up, "Zaika-e-Rooh." She brought her family's treasured Awadhi and Lucknowi recipes, passed down through generations, for our guests to enjoy.

About Special Events & Collaborations
When we host guest chefs or design seasonal pop-ups like 'Zaika-e-Rooh,' we change the menu to highlight specific regional heritage. These events usually feature a sequential tasting menu where our bar team creates distinct drink pairings to match the flavours being showcased, so we encourage you to share any dietary preferences with us well before your reservation date.
Our kitchen is a playground for exploration. We believe that progressive Indian dining shouldn't be static, which is why we frequently open our doors to guest chefs and create pop-up menus that challenge our usual approach.
Past collaborations, such as the 'Zaika-e-Rooh' series with Naushy Mirza or our work with Chef Amninder Sandhu, represent our core philosophy. We take recipes passed down through generations—like Lucknowi kebabs or Awadhi stews—and present them with our signature modern techniques. It is about balancing respect for the origin with the excitement of a new form.
These events are fleeting by design. Whether it is a thematic celebration for a festival or an intensive guest chef takeover, these menus are available for a limited window at our Mehrauli space. We do this to ensure that every dish remains fresh and every detail of the 'Roohaniyat'—our blend of mystic melodies and magical moments—is preserved.
If you are planning to join us for a future pop-up, please keep an eye on our event announcements. Since these are limited-seating experiences held on our rooftop with views of the Qutub Minar, tables tend to fill up as soon as the menu is finalised.
