About Progressive Indian Fine Dining
What Progressive Indian Means to Us
At Rooh, I see food as more than just eating - it's about memories and stories. I take the flavours from all over India, like Awadh and Chettinad, and flip them with modern techniques. But the real desi (authentic) soul, that stays. We call it 'Roohaniyat' - craft, culture, and a touch of elegance.
How You Can Experience Rooh
- À la carte for those who like to pick and choose
- Chef’s Tasting Menu for anyone wanting a modern Indian tasting menu that changes with the season
- Private dining for your close-knit gatherings or a proper mehfil (soulful get-together)
A Sneak Peek at the Menu
Some of my crowd-pleasers:
- Uttapam Taco (South Indian pancake meets taco), Baingan Bharta Terrine (smoky eggplant, French twist), Butternut Squash Manti (like dumplings in a parmesan yakhni broth)
- Golden Vark Lamb Chop (lamb with edible gold), Chicken Tikka Parmigiana (Indian-Italian fusion), Goan Prawn Curry (old-school Goan flavours, new style)
- Rasmalai Cheesecake, Parle Masala Tea Tarte (Parle-G crust, chai foam - nostalgia but different)
Ambiance & More
The vibe: plush velvet, chandeliers, candlelight. The terrace? Full-on romantic view of Qutub Minar - proper “Delhi aur Qutub” feels.
I also host live music nights and guest chef pop-ups, so there’s always something happening.
If you're searching for artistic Indian plating or fusion Indian desserts, you’ll find it here. Nothing too formal, just soulful, creative food with a view.
