Stepping into a tournament isn't just about playing matches. For me, it's where you see real grit, nerves, and those moments that stick with you. I've been part of this game long enough to know - a good event can push players to become legends, and a badly run one can ruin the vibe for everyone.
What I Actually Do
- Plan formats, set rules, and work out the scheduling so no one gets lost in chaos
- Handle online registration for badminton tournaments - honestly, nobody likes paperwork or last-minute confusion
- Spread the word to attract strong players, not just fill up slots
- On event day, I'm there for everything: match flow, equipment, and making sure things run on time
- After all, event logistics can make or break the day

- Open shuttle tournament coordination for all levels - our YONEX-SUNRISE RKBA Sub-Junior Open is proof, with big brands and official associations onboard
- Internal leagues for our academy and campers, just to keep the fire burning within our RKBA family

My Story
Started RKBA with just me and one student. Now, it’s 250+ of us – feels like a big family, not just an academy. I wanted young players to have what I missed out on – real support, not just coaching. We laugh, grind, celebrate. Winning a tournament after ages? Pure magic. I push my students to fight, think like warriors. War never ends, so keep hustling. Here’s to 40 more years of this energy.
