Featured Badminton Tournaments & Academy Success
From district-level open tournaments to our intense in-house leagues, this is how we build champions at Rohit Katam Badminton Academy.
This is the official poster for a sub-junior district open tournament I organized, backed by major brands like YONEX and the Thane District Badminton Association. I handle the entire process, from planning and promotion to flawless on-day execution.
A group of proud winners from a summer camp tournament I managed. My goal is to create an environment where every player, from young kids to adults, gets a chance to compete and celebrate their success.
A proud moment from our academy's first in-house singles league. I ensure every tournament concludes with a professional awards ceremony to honor the champions and their hard work.
About Featured
When I organize tournaments like our YONEX-SUNRISE Sub-Junior Open, I ensure every detail, from the Yonex AS2 shuttles to the district umpire officiating, is handled professionally. You don't have to worry about scheduling chaos or last-minute confusion because I run these events exactly the way I train my athletes, with precision and focus. If you are looking for an event in Thane where the rules are clear and the competition is real, this is where it happens.
Why Competitions Matter
I believe you can practice drills for hours, but you only truly grow when you face someone who wants to beat you. That is why I organize both sanctioned district ranking tournaments and internal academy leagues.
What goes into our tournaments:
- Clear Standards: Whether it is a sub-junior district event using Yonex AS2 shuttles or a summer camp league using Mavis 350s, the equipment and rules are always consistent.
- Fair Play: I enforce BWF rules and bring in certified umpires because you deserve an environment where the score is honest and the competition is tough.
- Logistics: I handle the draw publications, scheduling, and registration online so that players, parents, and coaches are not left guessing about match times.
Building the RKBA Family
My journey started with one student, and today we have over 250 athletes training at our facilities. When you see photos of our award ceremonies, you are seeing more than just trophies. You are seeing years of gym work, diet discipline, and mental conditioning coming to fruition.
Whether you are a beginner looking to play your first tournament or a competitive player aiming for district rankings, my goal is to give you a platform to perform. I don't just host events; I create battlegrounds where you can test your limits and earn your wins. If you want to join our next event or enroll in our training batches, reach out and let’s talk.
