About Piano & Keyboard Keys
Beginners often struggle with rigid hand posture, so we teach the 'SBC' rule right from day one—Slow it down, Break it down, and Be consistent. You do not need your own keyboard to start, as we provide all instruments in our sound-treated Ghatkopar studio, so you can jump straight into playing songs instead of focusing only on theory.
We believe talent is built, not born. Whether you are 3 or 60, my classes focus on making music accessible, fun, and deeply personal. We cover sheet music, finger-strengthening exercises, and song repertoire using keyboards, melodicas, and harmoniums.
What to expect at Riyaaz with Nishaa:
- Personalized Batches: We run small group cohorts of 4 to 6 students to ensure you get individual feedback rather than getting lost in a crowd.
- Structured Learning: Prepare for Trinity College London or Gandharva Mahavidyalaya exams if you want, or just learn to play your favorite Bollywood numbers for fun.
- Toddlers & Special Needs: We have specialized modules for children starting at age 3, focusing on building rhythm and confidence through movement and keys.
- Practical Focus: This is a no-judgment zone. We prioritize hand-foot independence, chord charts, and jamming with backing tracks to help you sound better, faster.
