Welcome to Riyaaz with Nishaa School of Music. I wanted to create a space that feels like a community, where music is all about joy and connection. This is what it's all about. From the small "oops" moments and gentle corrections in class to the incredible confidence of performing on a grand stage at our annual concert. I believe every student has this potential, and my goal is to help them find it.
It's never too early to start. My 'Tiny Tunes' program is a music and movement session designed for parents and toddlers, starting from just 9 months old. It's a beautiful way to introduce your little one to rhythm, sound, and the joy of learning together.
Many people think drums are just noise, but it's so much more. Learning drums is one of the best ways for a child to improve hand-eye coordination, build focus, and channel their energy productively. It's not chaos, it's growth in progress.
You can feel the passion in this performance. This is what happens when students connect with a song and are given the freedom to express themselves. My studio is a judgment-free zone where emotion and music come together.

About this collection
We keep our batches strictly small, capped at 4 to 6 students. This is a deliberate choice so I can actually hear the nuances in your playing and give you corrections in real-time. You aren't just one face in a crowd here; you get personal attention and honest feedback every single time you sit down to play.
I started this school with three children in a small room, and today we are a full-blown musical family. Many people think you need to be born with talent to play, but that is just noise. Music is a skill, and with the right practice and a supportive environment, anyone can shine. At our Ghatkopar West studio, we teach everything from guitar and piano to drums, flute, and vocals, with a focus on both Indian classical and Western styles.
