This blouse is all about unique details. I used a rich brown fabric and created an intricate neckline with Zardosi work. The standout feature is the custom tassels, made from layered, petal shaped fabric pieces that add a beautiful, three dimensional touch.
A beautiful example of a contrast design. This off white blouse features delicate pink floral embroidery and striped details. The unique back cutout and the contrasting pink patterned fabric on the sleeve cuff add a modern and playful element to a classic design.

I love playing with different textures and colors. This elegant beige blouse features a sleeve made with a traditional gold silk border. The body of the blouse is adorned with delicate floral embroidery using pink and red threads, pearls, and stones for a subtle pop of color.
A quick look at the variety of blouses I create in my studio. This video montage shows a range of styles, from simple and elegant designs to heavy bridal pieces, in a rainbow of colors like pink, purple, and orange. Each one is custom made with a unique cut and workmanship.

This image shows the full front and sleeve detail of the pretty contrast blouse. The clean lines of the neckline and the intricate embroidery on the sleeve create a balanced and elegant design, perfect for pairing with a simple silk saree.
About The Art of Handwork: Blouse Details
I don't just sew fabric; I build structure. Whether it is a princess cut for a flawless silhouette or integrating sheer net patches to mimic temple jewellery, my focus is on the construction underneath the embroidery. You get an outfit that sits perfectly on your shoulders without constant adjusting, because my father always told me there is always scope for improvement in the fit.
When you look at a bridal blouse, you see the intricate Zardosi and Aari work. I see the canvas padding, the princess cut, and the specific tension in the thread that keeps it all together. My approach to handwork is grounded in the belief that beauty must be functional.
The Sheer Series and Texture
I developed my 'Sheer Series' because I wanted to offer something lighter than traditional heavy bridal wear without losing the elegance. We use delicate net patches as a canvas for stones, pearls, and sequins. This allows us to create patterns that mimic the richness of temple jewellery directly on the fabric. It is a balancing act of aesthetics and weight.
Designing Your Fit
Every blouse is designed around your unique body structure, not a generic mannequin. We start with a conversation about your vibe and budget. I sketch the pattern first, so we are on the same page before a single needle touches the fabric. This collaborative process ensures that details like back cutouts, sleeve length, and necklines are tailored specifically to your comfort and preference.
My Craft Philosophy
My studio in Indiranagar is a space where we treat every piece as a signature project. Whether it is a festive blouse with subtle border embroidery or a heavy bridal piece covered in sequins, the craftsmanship remains the priority. My dad's advice, 'Scope for improvement,' drives my team every day. We check, refine, and stitch again until it meets the standard you expect. If you are looking for a design that combines traditional handwork with a modern, sharp fit, let's connect and sketch out your vision.
