I prepare these seasonal favourites only when the market brings the freshest produce. From spicy amla to crunchy gajar-gobhi, everything is handmade in small batches without preservatives.

This is my Spicy Amla Pickle, a winter specialty packed with flavour. I use fresh, big-sized amla (Indian gooseberries) which are carefully cut and mixed with a blend of traditional spices and mustard oil. The result is a tangy, medium-spicy pickle that is full of Vitamin C and tastes incredible with any meal.

Here are several jars of my spicy amla pickle, ready for my customers. I make many batches of this throughout the winter when fresh green amla is abundant. It's a tangy and medium-spicy pickle made without any preservatives.

For those who prefer a milder taste, I make this Sweet and Sour Amla Pickle. It uses big, green amla with minimal oil, creating a sweet and tangy flavour with just a hint of spice. It's a great way to enjoy the health benefits of amla.

This is my Turmeric Pickle, made with fresh raw turmeric or 'Amba Haldi' that is available in winter. Peeling and chopping it is a lot of work, but the final product is a healthy and delicious pickle that many of my clients order every year.

A batch of my fresh turmeric pickle, jarred and ready. Raw turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and other health benefits, making this pickle not just tasty but also very good for you.

My Mixed Veg Pickle is a very popular winter special, also known as Gajar Gobhi Shalgam ka Achaar. I use fresh red carrots, cauliflower, and turnips, and make it in two styles: one with jaggery for a sweet and sour taste, and one without for a purely sour flavour.

During winters, I make this homemade Chyawanprash using fresh green amla and pure cow ghee. It is sweetened with jaggery and infused with saffron, cardamom, and 14 different Ayurvedic spices. This immunity-boosting preserve is a healthy addition to your daily routine.

Here is a large batch of my homemade Chyawanprash. I prepare it with the freshest ingredients as soon as winter starts. It's a traditional Ayurvedic recipe that is great for both adults and kids to boost immunity.

About Winter Harvest: Amla, Turmeric & Mixed Veg

I do not believe in mass-producing stocks ahead of time. When the winter harvest of red carrots, cauliflower, and fresh green amla hits the markets, that is when I start my kitchen prep. Because I work in small batches, every jar captures the crunch and flavour of the season exactly as it should be, without relying on artificial preservatives to stretch shelf life.
