About Commercial Concepts: Sherwood Building
The Sherwood building concept experiments with the play of light and volume, using a series of projecting and receding glass boxes to break the monotony of a standard commercial facade. This rhythmic approach creates a distinct visual identity while actively managing solar heat gain by providing natural self-shading across the exterior structure.
At Redwall Design Studio, our commercial design process begins with a rigorous analysis of site orientation, local building bylaws, and target usage.
