About Our Training Grounds
You cannot play a match on a perfect surface every time, so we make sure you train on everything. Whether it is the uneven bounce on the red soil at Cross Maidan or the controlled, sharp pace in our Kurla indoor nets, you are here to learn how to handle the ball, not just hit it. We treat every session as a preparation for real-game unpredictability.
Training at Cross Maidan and Karnataka Sports Ground
These open grounds are the heart of our academy. We train here Tuesday to Saturday mornings, exposing you to the elements and the reality of red soil wickets. You will not find perfectly manicured surfaces here. Instead, you learn to handle the ball that nips back, stays low, or takes an odd bounce. This is where you build the patience required to construct an innings in match conditions.
Indoor Practice in Kurla
When the Mumbai rains arrive, the game does not stop. Our indoor facility in Kurla is where we sharpen your reflexes against high-speed throwdowns. It is not about comfort here; it is about repetition. You get to face a high volume of deliveries in a controlled environment, allowing you to refine your technique without losing time resetting the field.
Why We Change Venues
As I always say, ghaat-ghaat ka paani piyoge (you gain experience by facing it all). If you only practice on a flat, perfect strip, you will struggle on a difficult pitch. Our players rotate between these venues so that by the time you reach a match, no condition feels alien to you. We are not just giving you a pitch to stand on; we are giving you the experience of facing different challenges every day.
