About this collection
We do not simply teach performance skills; our RAISE (Ramana Art-form Interventions for Self-awareness and Excellence) program guides students through a journey of self-discovery using theatre as a medium. Recently, we collaborated with over 400 children from local government schools to produce large-scale dance dramas like 'Mother Earth's Best Birthday Party' at our Heritage Auditorium, ensuring every child has a role to play.
The RAISE program is designed to integrate traditional Indian arts—theatre, natya (dance), and sangeetham (music)—into the curriculum of government schools and institutions such as the Shree Ramana Maharishi Academy for the Blind. We provide the mentorship, scriptwriting, choreography, and costume support needed to turn a school production into a meaningful journey of self-reflection.
This creates a stage where students do more than recite shlokas or follow choreography; they engage with historical values and explore their own emotions. We host these large-scale presentations at the Ramana Maharshi Heritage Auditorium in Sanjaynagar, turning rehearsals into sessions of community bonding and discipline. Whether you represent a school looking to incorporate value-based arts into your academic year, or you are seeking to partner with us for cultural initiatives, we welcome you to join this collective effort to make heritage arts accessible to all students.
