About My Process: From Cone to Color
I don't use store-bought cones. My paste is strictly homemade, mixed with Nilgiri essential oils to ensure a deep, natural maroon stain. This process is about more than just the design; it's about making sure your colour stays dark for days, not hours, with absolutely no chemical reactions.
When you hire me, you aren't just getting a design; you're getting a commitment to quality. The process starts long before I pick up the cone. My homemade natural henna paste is carefully prepared without any harsh chemicals, which is crucial for sensitive skin and long festive events.
The Art of the Line
Whether I'm doing a delicate Arabic motif or a heavy bridal 'bharwa' design, the flow of the paste is everything. I use specific cone tip sizes—0.5mm for bold, clean lines and 0.3mm for fine, intricate fill—to get the perfect detail. This is how I manage to hide names or add custom motifs like peacocks and palace domes seamlessly into the pattern.
