About this collection
These are not just generic motifs; I focus on the geometry of the dome and the flow of the peacock's feathers to ensure the art fits your arm or foot perfectly. Whether it is a bajubandh or a foot design, I use a precise 0.3mm tip to capture those intricate lattice and archway lines that give the design its royal feel.
When you choose a palace or peacock theme, you are essentially asking for a miniature painting on your skin. I approach these designs by first mapping out the structural lines of the palace dome, often known as jharokhas, to provide a solid frame. Once the architecture is set, I layer in the peacock motifs, blending fine shading with bold borders to create a 3D effect that really stands out in photos.
Because I use only 100% natural, homemade henna paste, the colour development on these high-density areas is reliable. These designs are perfect for:
- Bajubandh & Armbands: The curved shape of a peacock fits naturally around the upper arm or forearm.
- Foot Mehndi: I often incorporate palace elephants or grand entryways at the base, which looks elegant when paired with open footwear.
- Bridal Highlights: A central palace dome can act as a storytelling element, tying together the rest of your bridal mehndi.
Technically, these designs require patience. The jaali (lattice) work inside the palace windows or the fine lines of the peacock feathers need a steady hand. Depending on the complexity and the density—whether you want a heavy, filled-in look or something more spaced out—application can take anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes per arm. My priority is always the stain; because I avoid all chemical additives, you get that deep maroon shade that lasts throughout your wedding festivities. Whether you have a specific reference in mind or want to see my interpretation of a royal Delhi style, I am happy to customise the layout to suit your preference.

Hello, I’m Gaurav. Mehndi is my shauk, and nothing gives me more kick than drawing a perfectly detailed palace window or a peacock’s eye on someone’s hand. I keep things real with my own homemade natural paste, so you get the deep, dark colour you actually want.
