Senior and Special Needs Cat Care
Your senior or medically recovering cat deserves more than a sterile cage. Here, they get the quiet comfort and home-like calm they need to thrive.
This is Magic, an adorable senior cat who needed some post-op care. He was so brave and sweet, and I was happy to give him the extra TLC he needed to heal.
Look at that grumpy, adorable face. Wearing a cone is no fun, so I make sure to give extra chin scratches and soft food to make it a little better.
This is Kaali, Magic's brother, another senior sweetheart. I made him a cozy, dark cave to sleep in so he'd feel extra safe and secure.

Kaali in a perfect loaf formation. Senior cats are the best, they are just so full of love and appreciation for a comfy spot.
Kaali found another cozy spot. I have lots of soft, easily accessible beds on the floor for my senior guests.
Senior QT Kittu taking a well-deserved nap. Older cats need more sleep, and I provide a peaceful environment for them to rest.

My own cat Yoda is a senior, so I'm very familiar with their changing dietary needs. This video is about our successful switch to a new sterilised cat food formula to manage her weight.
About Senior & Special Needs Care
I know senior cats need their space. I keep things calm, avoiding forced playtime or loud interruptions. Whether it is medication management, post-op monitoring, or just helping them navigate their day with ease, I am right here to provide the extra patience and steady hand they rely on.
When you have a senior cat or a little one recovering from surgery, the regular boarding routine just does not cut it. My approach is different. Because I work from home and only take a small number of guests, your cat gets the 24/7 supervision they truly need.
Why my care is different:
- Zero Forced Activity: Older cats are not here to chase laser pointers. I respect their need for rest and provide low-height bedding that is easy on their joints.
- Medical Support: I am experienced in administering oral medications, managing post-op recovery, and monitoring incision sites for any signs of infection. If they are wearing a cone, I ensure they are comfortable and getting plenty of chin scratches.
- Hydration and Feeding: I follow your exact feeding schedule and keep fresh water in multiple accessible spots so your cat stays hydrated without having to travel far.
- Steady Routine: For cats that are anxious or fragile, routine is everything. I keep the environment stable and quiet so they do not feel stressed by new surroundings.
I treat every senior guest as if they were my own Yoda or Storm. Before booking, I always suggest a quick chat or visit so I can understand exactly what your cat needs to feel safe. My goal is to make sure they are not just boarded, but cared for with the same love you would give them at home.
