Why Playtime Matters

It's not just about burning energy. For guests at my Shahpur Jat home, interactive play is the best way to lower stress and build trust during their catcation. When a cat arrives in a new space, they're often unsure—that's when a feather wand or a laser pointer becomes the ultimate ice-breaker.

My Play Style

• No Finger Play: I'm a stickler for this. I never use my hands to wrestle with kittens. It teaches them that biting fingers is okay, and that's a hard habit to break later. We use wand toys to distract and engage those killer instincts instead.
• Catio & Zoomies: My netted balcony (the 'catio') is the prime spot for watching birds and soaking up the sun, which is its own kind of mental stimulation. But for the heavy-duty zoomies, my living area is fully cat-proofed with wall shelves and tunnels for climbing.
• Senior Care: Don't worry, older cats aren't forced to sprint. We keep it chill with slow-movement toys that appeal to their natural hunting curiosity without over-tiring them.

Every evening, I send you updates—sometimes it’s a video of Rustom baba doing flips, other times it’s Jarvis just chilling after a session. If your cat has a specific favorite game or needs help burning off extra kitten energy before bed, just let me know. We make it work!
