About Our Cage-Free Home
Since I keep my boarding group intentionally small, I can give every guest plenty of 1-on-1 time. You aren’t just dropping your cat off at a facility; they are joining my actual home where they can roam, climb, and lounge just like they do in your own living room.
Finding a boarding space that actually respects a cat's need for space is hard, which is why I ditched the cage concept entirely. My place in Shahpur Jat is fully cat-proofed, meaning your furball gets the freedom to explore instead of sitting in a box.
Why this works better:
- The Catio: Safety is the number one priority. My netted balcony allows cats to get fresh air, watch birds, and sunbathe without any risk of escape.
- Small Batches: I only host a few guests at a time. This keeps the energy calm and ensures I can actually manage intros and monitoring without things getting chaotic.
- Home Routine: I work from home, so your cat is part of the daily rhythm, not stuck in a quiet room alone. Whether they need a chin scratch or an intense play session with a wand toy, I’m right there.
Everything from the litter box setup to the 24/7 AC is designed to make them feel like they never left their own territory. If you are worried about separation anxiety or a cat who is usually shy, having a home-based environment usually helps them settle much faster than a clinical boarding facility.
