About Cozy Catcations
I don't believe in kennels. Your cat gets their own private, quiet room with secure, net-protected window views—perfect for bird watching or napping in the sun. This is a home, not a facility, so I make sure they get plenty of one-on-one attention without the stress of being surrounded by other pets.
Cats are creatures of habit and territory, which is why a standard boarding kennel is often the last place they want to be. I designed these 'catcations' to be the exact opposite.
My approach is rooted in my background as a pet behaviorist. I know that for a cat, security equals comfort. That is why every guest gets a private bedroom—not a cage or a condo—where they are the only feline resident. They have full access to furniture, scratching posts, and safe, screened balconies where they can lounge and watch the world go by without any risk of escape.
Because I only host a small number of pets at a time, I can actually dedicate time to your cat. If they are shy, I give them the space to hide and observe until they feel brave enough to come out for a treat. If they are playful, we spend time with laser pointers and feathers. I monitor their water intake and litter box habits closely, which are often the first indicators of stress. Whether your cat is a senior who needs a quiet, warm spot or a young kitten who needs a bit of structured play, I tailor my routine to match their personality. You won't find loud noises or chaotic environments here, just a calm, safe, and engaging space for your best friend while you are away.
