About Campaign & Editorial Looks
For campaign and editorial work, I shift my focus from standard bridal durability to texture, dimension, and lighting play. While bridal makeup is primarily about longevity for an all-day event, editorial looks are crafted specifically for the camera lens, often featuring sharper contouring, metallic pigments, or graphic liners that stand out clearly under studio lighting or specific set environments.
These editorial collections are my creative playground. Unlike the client-driven requests for weddings, editorial shoots allow me to collaborate closely with photographers and fashion stylists to build a unique narrative. We might be playing with intense, kohl-rimmed eyes to create a mood of mystery or using soft, dewy bases to capture an ethereal aesthetic.
My process changes when the brief is high-fashion. We discuss the outfit’s fabric, the set's background color, and the intended emotion of the shoot before I touch a brush. I use high-definition techniques that ensure the makeup remains vivid without appearing heavy, even in high-resolution photography. Whether you are a brand looking for a clean, sophisticated beauty campaign or a photographer planning a themed creative shoot, my goal remains the same: creating a visual story.
