About Additional Work & Photoshoots
For photoshoots, I shift from my daily bridal style to bold, camera-ready techniques that work with studio lighting. We focus on matte finishes and high-pigment colors that will not fade under bright camera flashes, ensuring your look stays consistent from the first click to the last.
Photography is a different game than a wedding event. While bridal makeup is about longevity through a long day, editorial work is about structure, dimension, and how light hits the face in a studio or on location.
Whether you are a model building a portfolio, a brand shooting a catalogue, or just someone wanting to capture a creative concept, my approach remains grounded in the same philosophy: the makeup should support the story you want to tell.
I pay close attention to:
- Lighting adaptation: High-fashion looks require different contouring and highlighting than standard party makeup. I adjust the density of the base to ensure it does not look flat in raw camera files.
- Sharpness: From graphic liners to bold lips, we ensure the details are precise enough to survive high-resolution close-ups.
- Collaboration: I work closely with photographers and stylists in Mumbai to understand the vision, ensuring the makeup brings the whole concept together.
