A common worry parents have is that their baby will not perform for the camera. Here is the secret: we do not rush. Whether it is a studio session or an outdoor picnic, I let the baby take the lead. If they need a break, a feed, or just a cuddle from you, we take it. The best smiles happen when there is zero pressure, so we keep the session relaxed and entirely at their pace.
Planning Your Baby's First Birthday Shoot
Turning one is a massive deal, but the best photos do not come from forcing a 'cheese' grin. They come from letting your baby be themselves. In my Gurugram studio, or outdoors at a quiet park, I focus on capturing the tiny details: the way they hold your hand, their curious expressions, and those first wobbly steps.
The 10-11 Month Sweet Spot
Want the best results? Book your session for when your baby is 10-11 months old. By this age, they are generally comfortable with new faces, not too mobile yet, and full of personality. We avoid the 'stranger danger' phase and capture them when they are at their most engaged.
Studio or Outdoors?
- Studio Sessions: Perfect for controlled, themed setups like boho-chic, minimalist, or Pretty in Pink. We have all the props ready, including vintage crates, marquee lights, and soft fabrics, so all you need to bring is your baby’s outfits.

What About the Cake?
