About Behind The Lens: My Process & Tips
I never say 'say cheese' because forced smiles just do not capture the magic. My sessions are entirely at your pace, whether we are in my Gurugram studio or outdoors, because your comfort is the foundation of every authentic photograph I take.
Photography for me is about the journey, not just the final result. When you book a maternity, newborn, or family session with me, we start with a conversation about what makes your family unique. I handle the styling, the planning, and the setup, so you can focus on the connection.
My Philosophy on Portraits
I specialize in natural, candid imagery. Whether you are coming in for a maternity shoot, a newborn portrait session, or a family session, I keep the environment relaxed. I do not watch the clock, and I certainly do not rush you. If the baby needs a break, we take a break. If you need to feed or soothe your little one, we pause. This patience is how we get those genuine expressions—the nose crinkles, the tiny hand grasps, and the real laughs.
Planning Your Shoot
For parents planning a first birthday, I always recommend booking when your baby is 10 to 11 months old. They are usually playful and open to new faces at this age, which helps us capture pure, happy chaos during a cakesmash session. If you are planning an outdoor family session, we will aim for the golden hour, right before sunset, when the light in Delhi NCR is softest and most flattering.
What to Expect
My studio is fully equipped for your comfort, from boho-chic prop setups to minimalist backdrops. I encourage you to bring everyone who matters—parents, siblings, and even your furry family members. Bringing pets to your portrait session adds an element of warmth and life that is simply impossible to replicate. I am here to guide you through the process, share posing tips that feel natural, and help you create memories that you will want to look back on for years to come.
