Why I Call This Place a Second Home
For over 20 years, I’ve tried to make Prayag Montessori feel like a home, not just a school. Every kid walking in gets space to figure out who they are. I’m not here to drill lessons; mostly, I hang back and watch what sparks their curiosity, then nudge them along. The goal? Kids who walk out confident, curious, and ready to do things for themselves.
How We Learn, Day by Day
- Kids choose their own work from shelves filled with hands-on learning materials for preschoolers. Everything’s at their level, from tiny tables to puzzle trays.
- No strict rows or lectures. Children wander, work on the floor with friends, or dive into solo projects.
- I guide, not boss around. My job is spotting when a child’s ready for the next challenge.
What Kids Actually Do Here
- Loads of practical life activities for kids: pouring, buttoning, making Bhel Puri or fruit pizzas (yep, fireless cooking is a hit).
- Montessori sensory activities with color tablets and geometric blocks - learning feels like play.

My Story
Hey, we’re Team Prayag! This place, honestly, feels more like a home than a school. Been two decades, still feels fresh watching kids light up when they crack something new. We’re not your typical teachers – we call ourselves guides, just walking with the kids as they discover stuff.
