We’ve spent over 20 years building a school where kids actually look forward to coming every day. At Prayag Montessori, our CBSE program for grades 1-9 mixes structure with a lot of heart - the kind that feels almost like home.
What Guides Us
I don’t think of myself as just a teacher. I’m more like a guide. We use a Montessori-inspired CBSE curriculum, so kids learn at their own pace, but we’re always there to nudge them when they need it. Independence is the big goal here. When students work without needing me around, I know we’re doing something right.
How Learning Happens
- No mugging up. We get into real understanding and critical thinking in primary education, not just how to pass exams.
- Kids use Montessori materials to figure things out for themselves. You’ll see them rolling out mats and working on their own or in quiet groups.
- The classroom is calm, not crowded - every child gets their own space to work.
Beyond the Syllabus
- We teach life skills with hands-on learning activities for CBSE students, like fireless cooking (bhel puri, anyone?).
- Wellness is big here: yoga, sports (everyone joins in), and lots of movement.
- Festivals and creativity sessions keep things lively - from painting diyas at Deepawali to making clay Ganeshas.

My Story
Hey, we’re Team Prayag! This place, honestly, feels more like a home than a school. Been two decades, still feels fresh watching kids light up when they crack something new. We’re not your typical teachers – we call ourselves guides, just walking with the kids as they discover stuff. Every giggle during fireless cooking, every sports day grin, all the small wins – that’s what gets us up in the morning. We just want our kids to grow up confident and happy.
My Work
Montessori Programs for Little Ones - Private Montessori education for 2-6 year olds, plus Airaa Academy for older kids. Feels like home here.
Respectful Montessori Method - We use hands-on stuff so kids learn by doing, at their own speed. No rush, no pressure.
