I do not just show up to play; we work on the setlist together, blending the languages and rhythms that hit home for your specific audience.
Creating the right musical atmosphere starts with understanding the space. My solo acoustic performances are designed for intimate settings like house concerts and cozy cafes, where I can share the stories behind my originals and connect directly with the room. For larger venues or celebratory events like weddings and corporate parties, I bring in my band, the Praveen Bhat Collective. We scale from a 3-piece trio for cocktail hours to a full 5-piece ensemble when the dance floor needs to be packed.
My setlist is truly multilingual. I regularly perform in Hindi, Kannada, English, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, shifting from soulful acoustic melodies to upbeat Bollywood and rock hits depending on the crowd's energy. I have performed at venues like Phoenix Market City and Clark's Exotica, so I have a clear understanding of the technical requirements for different scale events, from simple PA setups to full backline configurations.
