Ceremony background singing
Solo or two-piece usually suits singing beside the stage while a ceremony happens. I sing instead of recorded music. There shouldn't be too much noise, alva? It has to be a pleasant experience.
Solo to five-piece
I offer solo, duo, trio, four-piece and five-piece formats, depending on the requirement. My trio brings in percussion and violin, flute or keyboard. Lead guitar is also a listed option. I use trios for unplugged house sessions. Full-band shows are "highly engaging" and "premium ah, expensive". I offer five-piece for big weddings, luxury clients and corporate events.
Song requests and stages
I take live song requests in Malayalam, English, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. I write in Kannada, Hindi and English, and my covers explore Marathi too.
The Praveen Bhat Collective has played Phoenix Market City and 1522 The Pub. My BMS College Utsav performance was with Mysore Xpress, a separate band project. I've also played a private event at Chamaravajra. There's a "Songs & Stories" evening and a Pegs N Bottles residency promo too.

My Story
I'm Praveen, from Sirsi in the Western Ghats, now based in Bangalore. I picked up an old, rusty guitar in "2015-ish". Music brought me friends, office staircase jams and a film song, "Ninnalli Neenu" from "Megha". I started writing "So Ja Ab Tu Chanda" in 2017 when my mother was in hospital, "like a lullaby in reverse". I hope you make it yours and sing it to comfort those who once comforted you.
My Work
Live and recorded vocals - I sing and play guitar solo or with other musicians, and sing for films and original tracks.
Ceremony music - I sing beside the stage while the ceremony happens. Solo or two-piece usually suits this.
Songs and stories - I share my own music and covers, including evenings called "Songs & Stories".
Live song requests - I take requests in Malayalam, English, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Original music - My debut original is "So Ja Ab Tu Chanda", a folk-pop lullaby I started writing for my mother.
Shared music - My "Kina Chir" collaboration with Ashish Kamath brings together Punjabi singing and Konkani rap.
