About this collection
My approach to facade design moves beyond surface aesthetics. We integrate structural geometry with high-performance materials, such as premium Travertine and Stonelam, to ensure the exterior remains as durable as it is visually striking. Every project begins with a 3D walkthrough, allowing us to align on the play of light and shadow before a single brick is laid.
When designing a residential exterior, I look for a balance between geometric complexity and material longevity. My process starts with understanding the site, the sunlight direction, and the surrounding environment. For projects like The Cursive Abode, we moved away from standard finishes, opting for a material palette that includes Travertine and Stonelam. These are not just aesthetic choices, as they provide necessary insulation and resistance against the weather.
I manage the entire delivery for these projects, ensuring the facade on-site matches the precision of our initial 3D models. This includes coordinating the structural framework, the installation of cladding, and the integrated lighting scheme. Lighting is a critical component of my designs. It is not just for visibility, but to define the building's character after sunset, transforming the massing into a distinct, illuminated form.
Whether we are using terracotta jaalis for passive cooling and texture or large-format tiling for a clean, monolithic appearance, the goal is always the same: a lasting, high-quality building exterior. Managing the civil coordination, vendor selection, and on-site supervision means you avoid the typical headaches of exterior construction.
