About The Studio Vibe & Community
Our studio works on a flexible drop-in model for sketching sessions, so you can join a class whenever your schedule allows. Whether you are prepping a portfolio or just looking to spend a quiet morning with charcoal and paper, you will find a seat at our table and plenty of encouragement from the group.
Prath has been a fixture in Panchsheel Park since 1994. My goal from the start was to move away from rigid classroom structures and create a space where art is a process, not just a result. When you walk in, you will notice it is not just a place to learn techniques; it is a community. We have adults working on canvas alongside teens sketching, and often, former students return years later with their own children to join our classes.
Inside, the studio is designed for comfort and focus. It is fully air-conditioned and stocked with high-quality supplies—from professional-grade graphite and charcoal to various painting mediums. If you join us for a session, you do not need to bring anything; we provide the easels, drafting tables, and reference materials.
We prioritize a relaxed vibe where you are free to experiment. You might see kids painting during our Saturday morning sessions, or adults diving into a Master Artist module in the afternoon. Regardless of your age or experience level, you are welcome to pick up a brush, share a laugh, and find your own artistic voice among friends.
