About Annual Student Exhibitions
Seeing your child's artwork professionally displayed on our studio walls is often the moment they truly begin to see themselves as artists. During our exhibitions, we transform our Panchsheel Park space into a gallery, complete with a popular sale counter where students experience the thrill of having their work appreciated by others. This goes beyond a simple school display; it is a celebration of the unique artistic voice each student has developed over the year.
For us at Prath, the annual exhibition is not just an event, it is the culmination of our year-round creative process. It brings together work from our youngest toddlers and our teen portfolio students alike. You will see projects ranging from our intensive 'Project Africa' series with geometric patterns to the individualistic master-inspired paintings that define our older batches.
Why we exhibit
We believe that art requires an audience to feel truly complete. When a student sees their piece framed or mounted on our studio wall, it validates their effort. They stop asking 'is this good?' and start saying 'this is mine.' This shift in perspective is what we strive for in every class, whether it is a drop-in sketching session or a 6-week summer expedition.
What you will see
Our exhibitions are a mix of media. You will find canvas work from our master artist series, intricate craft pieces made during our summer expeditions, and observational sketches from our foundational courses. We also feature a sale counter which is a highlight for our students—it teaches them that art has value and that their creative output is something the world wants to see.
Can you participate?
If you are visiting us during an exhibition, you are welcome to walk through, meet our instructors, and get a feel for our studio community. If you are looking to have your own work (or your child's work) displayed in the future, our seasonal courses are the perfect entry point. We accept students from age 4 and up, so whether you are starting with tactile play or diving into acrylics, there is a place for you on our walls.
