About In-Home Dog Boarding
Why I Do This
I started this because I know dogs aren’t just “being difficult” when they act out - usually, they’re just having a tough time. My place isn’t a kennel or a “dog hostel”. It’s a lived-in home where your dog gets respect, patience, and a routine that feels natural.
What a Stay Feels Like
- Daily decompression walks - not just a quick round, but real sniffing around in nature.
- Indoor stuff, too: I use Cavaletti (those little step-overs) for fitness, and lots of nose games, puzzles, and even cardboard shredding.
- Dogs eat in separate spots so there’s no stress or fighting. The day is predictable, which helps even anxious dogs settle down.
Safety & Comfort
- Pet gates and playpens keep things chill and safe - especially if dogs need breaks from each other.
- I’ve covered my tiled floors with anti-slip mats, great for wobbly pups or oldies.
- There’s a ramp for small or senior dogs. No unnecessary jumping.
- I check in via cameras if I step out. Your dog’s never just left to figure things out alone.
Every Dog, Their Way
- Nervous or shy? I never force them to interact. I use treats, time, and patience.
- Oldies get soft beds, gentle walks, and extra help moving around.
- Puppies get safe socialising, problem-solving games, and calm routines.
Here, every dog’s comfort and confidence comes first. They get treated as the one-of-a-kind little soul they are.

My Story
Hey, I'm Kirti. Used to freak out every time Candy or Russel peed indoors or pulled like mad on walks. Felt like a flop pet parent, honestly. Then it clicked—dogs don’t do 'good' or 'bad', they just do what feels right to them. Candy’s hip pain taught me to look for the 'why', not just blame. Now I try to be the person my dogs needed—patient, curious, safe. That’s what I bring to every dog and human I meet.
