When you walk into our studio at UB City, I want you to feel like you have stepped into a gallery, not a typical retail showroom. I keep the space fluid. We rearrange pieces often, so you might see a set of nesting tables paired with a large painting one week, and something completely different the next. It is important to me that you see how these pieces live in a room, not just isolated on a shelf. If you are coming to discuss a custom project, like ceremonial chairs for a wedding or a specific piece of furniture for your home, the studio is where we lay out materials. We can look at wood samples, test fabric swatches, and talk about the practical side of the design. It makes the whole process of getting something custom-made a lot clearer when you can actually point to things and ask, 'Can we do this in another color?' or 'How heavy is this?'
