Featured Art and Custom Furniture Designs
A collection of my most cherished projects, from intimate home accents to large-scale ceremonial setups. These pieces represent the heart of what I create at Artychoke.
It was an honor to create custom mandap furniture for the Ambani and Merchant families' Grah Shanti Puja. This video offers a glimpse into the grand setting where my bespoke pieces, from seating to ceremonial bajots, played a part in their special day. I am so grateful to have been part of these beautiful moments.
I was thrilled to see my work featured in Architectural Digest India. This stunning home, designed by We Design Studio, features my art in its central courtyard. It shows how the right piece can command a space while blending beautifully with a home's overall architecture and spirit.
This is the Stallion Chair from my "Wild & Untamed" collection, captured during a photoshoot. I love creating bold, statement furniture that starts a conversation. The combination of the vibrant orange fabric and the graphic horse motif makes this a piece of functional art.
My "Ek Aur Totta" C-stack tables are designed for modern living. They are functional and artistic, featuring a playful parrot motif inspired by a funny moment in my studio. These nesting tables can be used together or separately, bringing a touch of elegance and personality to any corner.
The beauty is in the details. This is a close-up of the custom fabric I designed for the priest seating at the Grah Shanti Puja. The intricate floral motifs in rust and peach tones were chosen to complement the serene, traditional atmosphere of the ceremony.
This is me, living my life through art. From the first idea to the final brushstroke, my work is a journey of visualizing, dreaming, and creating. I believe a home should be filled with pieces that tell your story.
Welcome to my Artychoke store at UB City, Bangalore. I wanted to create a physical space where you can experience the textures, colors, and stories behind my work. It’s a curated collection of my art, furniture, and home decor accents.
About Featured
When I work on a commission, whether it is for a high-profile event like the Ambani wedding or a single accent chair for your living room, the process stays the same: I sketch, I listen, and I tweak until the story feels right. You are not just getting furniture or art; you are getting a piece that has been hand-finished to handle real life, from the heat-resistant lacquer on my trays to the solid wood frames in my custom seating.
My work lives at the intersection of modern design and Indian heritage. When you see pieces from this collection, you are looking at items that have moved from my studio to spaces like private homes in Bengaluru or grand wedding mandaps.
For the Ambani and Merchant Grah Shanti Puja, my goal was to honour tradition while keeping the design fresh. We used mint green polish and intricate floral motifs, ensuring the furniture did not just sit in the background but actively contributed to the atmosphere of the ritual. It was a balance of stability, so the priests and family felt comfortable, and aesthetics that matched the grandeur of the day.
Other projects, like the home highlighted in Architectural Digest, required a different approach. There, the challenge was to integrate art into a specific architectural vision. We focused on pieces that could stand their own ground without overpowering the courtyard design.
Everything I create is meant for use. My trays are heat-resistant, and my C-stack tables are designed to be moved around your living room. Whether you come to my studio in UB City or reach out for a custom portrait or furniture project, you are getting work that reflects my background as an artist and a business owner who values durability as much as a beautiful finish.
