Corporate Workshops: POSH & POCSO Compliance
Creating a safe workplace is not just about ticking boxes. My workshops break down complex POSH and POCSO regulations into actionable strategies, grounded in real courtroom judgements.
Leading a virtual session on the comprehensive handling of POCSO cases for the National Legal Rights Consortium. My discussion focused on the practical challenges and legal nuances of the POCSO Act to ensure justice for child victims.
This text graphic highlights a successful panel discussion on strengthening POSH regulations, which I was honored to be a part of. With over 400 participants, it shows the growing need for clear and practical legal guidance in this area.
A screenshot showing the large number of participants in our virtual POSH workshop. It is heartening to see so many people engage in these critical conversations about creating safer communities and workplaces for women.
A collage of screenshots from the POSH panel discussion. We covered the latest judgments and discussed the importance of having the will and support system to report incidents, which is as crucial as the law itself.
I wore a pink saree for this October workshop to also raise awareness for breast cancer. The fight for women's safety and health is personal, and every conversation, whether about POSH or health, is a step in the right direction.

About Corporate Workshops: POSH & POCSO Compliance
Most corporate training fails because it treats compliance as a mere formality. In my sessions, we focus on the 'will to report' and the support systems that actually matter. We look at recent Supreme Court precedents and grey areas—like what constitutes harassment in a digital workplace—to move the conversation from simply avoiding lawsuits to building genuinely safe communities.
Compliance with the POSH Act 2013 and POCSO regulations is zaroori hai (crucial), but it is only the starting point. My workshops are built on the reality that legal frameworks alone cannot prevent harassment; you need the right culture and internal reporting mechanisms to make them effective.
What we cover
- POSH Act 2013 Compliance: We go beyond the handbook. We analyze recent Supreme Court judgements to understand the legal consequences and ensure your Internal Committees are equipped to handle inquiries fairly and efficiently.
- Scenario Analysis: We discuss the complex grey areas, such as social interactions, digital harassment on platforms like Slack or WhatsApp, and the fine balance between professional boundaries and office relationships.
- POCSO Awareness: For schools and educational institutions, we decode the practical challenges of implementation, ensuring that the focus remains on the child's safety and well-being.
- Neutrality & Fairness: I make sure we discuss the rights of the accused and the nuances of false allegations. An environment is only truly safe when it is also fair and objective.
My style is direct and bilingual. I do not believe in long, monotonous lectures. These sessions are designed as open dialogues where your employees can ask the tough questions. Whether you are an HR team looking to strengthen your POSH policy or an organization needing a reality check on your compliance, we focus on what works in the real world, not just what is written on paper.
Prachi Pratap
I am a first-generation lawyer who believes the law should not be a maze. I started these workshops because I have seen too many people—from employees to employers—get tangled in rules they did not understand until it was too late. I do not just teach the law; I show you how to use it as a shield.
